PIONEER BANK DONATES $10,000 TO BLUE RIDGE AREA FOOD BANK IN SUPPORT OF COMMUNITY HUNGER RELIEF EFFORS
STANLEY, VA - January 19, 2026 - Pioneer Bank (the “Bank” or “Pioneer”), the banking subsidiary of Pioneer Bankshares, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: PNBI), supports community hunger relief efforts with a donation in the amount of $10,000 to the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank. This donation reflects the bank’s 116-year commitment to serving local communities and supporting the families in these areas.
The contribution will assist the food bank in its outreach efforts, stocking its pantry, and providing meals to those suffering from food insecurity in the Blue Ridge region. This partnership comes at a critical time for many local families. As food costs continue to rise, so does the demand for the assistance Blue Ridge Area Food Bank provides to the community.
The donation was presented at this year’s annual In-Service Day for Pioneer Bank employees. Les Sinclair, Communications & PR Manager for the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank, was invited to serve as the guest speaker at the event. He highlighted the important work the Food Bank does in serving local communities and how this dedication to local service is a shared characteristic of community banking.
